    • Washable cover
    • Comes with 6 lid wipes (simple sodium chloride type)

    Description (Rebecca's)

Is there a polite way to express my feelings about the name of this product? Probably not. Ah well, mustn't be so fastidious.

Highlight: Oven friendly! I'm sure this compress has other great features but oven-friendliness is really the reason that I decided to stock it. There are so many people who either don't have a microwave, or don't want to use one. These days of course there are quite a few USB warm compresses available, but not everybody wants to sit there plugged into something either.

Otherwise, its general merits as a compress... the cover is good quality and washable, and the strap is plenty sturdy. The side that goes towards your eyes is nice and silky. Definitely a practical overall design for a wearable compress.

    Cumbersome to use

I am disappointed in this mask as the beads will not stay in and you have to take them out to wash the silk cover with warm water after each use. The opening does not fasten in any way and the bead pack simply slides all over the place. It heats up okay and the silk cover feels good on your eyes if you can keep it in from sliding around. Just simply too awkward and cumbersome to use for me.

Hi there, so sorry this didn't work out for you. I took one out to play with and remind myself what it's like as I haven't used one in awhile. So thought I'd share a couple of thoughts. I'm not quite sure what you meant about the opening... yes, it doesn't fasten, but so far as I can tell the opening doesn't affect the bead pack once it's all the way in? Regarding hygiene, just as a suggestion, some people use a tissue or one of the hygiene sheets that some of the mask makers are selling now, so that the outer cover doesn't have to be washed so frequently. Regarding sliding around, I understand what you mean, and I think it' the beads themselves. It's fairly loosely filled. I am thinking that perhaps a gel-filled mask type - or, alternatively, a USB mask might do a better job for you in that regard? All of the bead-filled ones I've come across are pretty similar to each other. Let us know if we can help you find something that better meets your needs, and again, sorry this one didn't work out! Kind regards Rebecca
