You know those little hard plastic cases that most plungers come in? They're great as original packaging, and for long term storage. But the downside is that they're airtight. If there is ANY moisture on your plunger and you close it up in one of those cases, you're asking for bacteria buildup or potential for mold. Personally I tend to keep mine in half of a scleral lens case (using it as a sort of pencil-holder) but that only allows for drying - it doesn't keep them protected or clean.
These vented cases offer a good alternative to allow plungers to stored without trapping moisture too.
Lab grade polypropylene medical container (Autoclavable)
Suitable for sanitary storing of application and remover plungers in-between use. Side vented to permit drying inside. (Plungers not included)
Our vented storage vial is a hygienic dry place to store plungers in between use, and to reduce the chance of water borne bacteria/pathogens.
Excellent idea. Plunger no longer feels sticky.

Bought to use for travel as I used to put them in baggies and this is much more convenient.

You’re absolutely right about the little plastic DMV inserter container..it’s air tight and doesn’t allow the plunger and inserter to air dry! This is better because it has holes AND the cap is attached. Ordered 2 one for my everyday use and the other for travel/go case! Thanks for the heads up!

I take an emergency kit to work every day. It is basically a peanut butter jar with extra saline, contact case, eye drops and my set of glasses in case I need to remove my contacts.
I was storing my inserter /remover tool in the plastic case they were shipped in. There was no air circulation for them to dry. Now I can clean them off and put them in this vial so they can breath. Love this idea.
