Description (by Rebecca)

Dustbusters have a thin foam lining. Do not expect them to give you a 'seal'. Nevertheless, I have found the Dustbuster series indispensable for lots of dry eye users over the years. I have many customers who have replaced them over and over. I actually found the success of this product somewhat surprising considering the shield part is so low profile, but clearly between the foam lining and the shape of the glasses it's giving people enough protection to be worthwhile. The plus with Dustbusters is that they are not nearly as goggly as goggles - many people seem fine with wearing them at the office even - and they are relatively inexpensive.

Compared with Onion Goggles, Dustbusters will not provide as good a protection; however, they're also less likely to irritate the skin due to the closed cell and shallower foam. They're also available in both clear and smoke lenses, for indoor/outdoor use. You can even get them with Changers now (light adjusting lenses), though the pricepoint is high enough that I think many people considering it would be better off spending a little more and getting AirShields, for example a Cyclone with light adjusting lenses for $99.

The Dustbuster 1 was recently revamped by the manufacturer (hence the higher pricing).
