Pressure patch: not a match
I wanted to try this as I was desperate to have aid in my eye staying shut. I have facial weakness which leads to same issues you see with people who suffer from Bell’s palsy and my eye has suffered some damage and fighting an eye ulcer/cornea deterioration. This patch will not work for me for several reasons: the foam. It’s scratchy and IF my eye were to make contact, it would do damage. Also, the strap is not easy to adjust, especially when on your head and the cup is a very hard, unforgiving plastic. I’m glad I tried it out, because now I know and the store review was very informative and I pretty much knew it wouldn’t work but that’s desperation for you :D I have found a way to make my own pressure patch when I’m not taping my eye shut with products I’ve gotten from this shop (which I love) so I’m happy that I saw this concept in person and made my own using: moisture chamber which is clear so you can SEE what your eye is doing under there, and a foam insert from the shops moisture chamber eye patch. It came with extra so I just slide one on top of my eye when it’s shut and then carefully put single moisture chamber on top and it’s perfection. Comfortable and secure and able to read and not worry about damaging my eyeball. Just wanted to share that because it’s so hard to find products that work well! Relief!
