Nice option for preservative-free PM drops
I have reached the point where I can’t use any drops/gels/ointments with any preservatives whatsoever, and so Retaine PM seems to be one of only two options left for me if I need something more viscous than drops.
It does soothe my irritated eyes; however, in times when my chronic conjunctivitis acts up or I have an allergic reaction to something it can make everything worse (maybe because it’s so thick the lids/eyes just can’t tolerate that pressure when so irritated?).
I dislike ointments because they seem so dang hard to get into the spot where I need them to go, but at least this is an option and it does work.

Hi there,
Thank you for your review! Please let us know if you could use any assistance with more product recommendations. We were a little puzzled about the preservative comment, as, in general, lubricant ointments are not preserved. We stock a number number of preservative-free nighttime ointments in addition to Retaine PM. Nighttime gels, on the other hand, are preserved. Regarding the reaction, if you haven't already, bring this up with your eye doctor. In our experience, petrolatum, which is in almost all ointments, can be irritating to some people.
Best,
Aidan
