Lid scrub, Lid scrub plus, lid scrub plus platinum, and the Orwellian names go on. I'm surprised they don't have a double plus good lid scrub yet
The Platinum foam is described by the manufacturer as having both anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is another step up from the Plus foam of the same brand. I have not used this one yet, so I don't have any personal experience to share. As with all lid hygiene products, once you get beyond the basic non medicated ones I highly recommend chatting with your doctor about the best options. There are many on the market, both OTC and, increasingly, Rx only.
OCuSOFT Lid Scrub PLUS Platinum is an extra strength leave-on eyelid cleanser that effectively relieves irritation by removing oil, debris, pollen and other contaminants.
Water, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Methyl Gluceth-20, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Salicyloyl Phytosphingosine (PSG-2), Decyl Glucoside, 1, 2- Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Disodium Cocamphodiacetate, Panthenol, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Chloride.
OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Plus Platinum foam is intended for use for by those with chronic or severe blepharitis. If you have blepharitis/meibomian gland dysfunction, consult your doctor about whether you can benefit from a lid hygiene product and if so which specific product they recommend. There are many products available, most over the counter but some by prescription only.
For external use only.
Wash hands and remove contact lenses prior to use.
