    Everyone's long since jumped on the Demodex bandwagon by now, OcuSoft included. This one contains both tea tree oil and coconut oil and seems to be very popular. It is one of four different foam lid scrubs from Ocusoft (lid scrub, lid scrub plus, lid scrub plus platinum, and oust demodex).

    Description (from the manufacturer's literature)

    An extra strength cleanser with tea tree oil that effectively relieves irritation by removing oil, debris, pollen and other contaminants from eyelashes, eyelids and the face.

    Water, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Methyl Gluceth-20, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Polysorbate 20, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Decyl Glucoside, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Disodium Cocamphodiacitate, Panthenol, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Chloride. Patent pending formula.

    Instructions for use

    For external use only. Wash hands and remove contact lenses prior to use.

    Directions:

    1. Pump desired amount of foam onto a lint-free cloth, pad or fingertip.
    2. Close eyes and gently cleanse eyelashes, lids, brow and face. Do not touch eyes directly.
    3. Rinse thoroughly.

    Excellent product

    Had infection with watering & crusting in one eye that would not go away. Lasted more than a month & survived weeks of using multiple prescriptions for eye drops & eye ointments from doctor. Decided to try Oust from Ocusoft after seeing a pic & reading an article that made me think I might have blepharitis related to Demodex mites. Two days after first use, the crusting went away, and within 5 days my eyes were feeling better than they had in years. I also quite like the tea tree/eucalyptus smell. The product also says it can be used to wash face. I am only using it once a week now due to cost, but my skin is softer & has fewer blemishes since I have been using it.

    strong odor

    I bought this from my ophthamologist, because Blephadex was no longer available. It has a very strong "petroleum?" odor that clings. I'm returning it.
