This is probably the most popular lid scrub on the market - it's a basic one (not medicated) by the company best known for its lid hygiene products, and packaged in a handy form. Prepackaged lid wipes are definitely the most convenient way to go. Personally, I do not care for the prepackaged wipes for daily use because I don't like the feel of the papery material on my lids - I prefer the foam type. However, the pads really are much simpler to use, and I have a lot of customers who have used them for years and love them.

What are OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Eyelid Cleanser (Pre-Moistened Pads) used for?

Ocusoft Lid Scrub Cleanser pads are  used for maintaining good eyelid hygiene. One of the most common causes of dry eye is blepharitis/meibomian gland dysfunction, where chronic inflammation of the oil glands in the eyelids results in a poor quality tear film that evaporates too fast due to lack of oil in the tear film. Keeping the eyelids clean and free of debris helps maintain healthy meibomian glands. Consult your doctor about whether you can benefit from a lid hygiene product and if so which specific product they recommend. There are many products available, most over the counter but some by prescription only. This one is OTC and is one of the most popular on the market.

Instructions for Use

For external use only. Wash hands and remove contact lenses prior to use.
Directions:

  • Unfold pre-moistened pad and wrap over finger.
  • Close eye and gently cleanse lid using side-to-side strokes. Do not touch eye directly.
  • Rinse thoroughly. Repeat for other lid.

would not buy again

I thought I'd try a different way of cleaning my caked on lids. this was not a good choice for me. I found the pads cleaned well put felt like it burned my eyes. After using my eyes were extremely red.

Outstanding

I have ordered Ocusoft lid scrub eyelid cleanser a few times and l have to say it’s been amazing. Since using it I have not had one case in developing an eye sty. I was getting eye styes at lease twice a month now not one. I am loving this product so much and plan to keep ordering it forever. 😁 Thank you so much for an awesome product. ❤️

Gets the Job Done

This is a great lid scrub that doesn't irritate the eye. I do wish the cloth was a bit softer however. One side seems more rough than the other.
