I have not tried these personally yet, and I'm looking forward to feedback. Who with dry eye does not struggle with allergy, after all. This looks like a nice 'combo product' with tea tree oil which is popular in lid wipes in general. Let me know what you think if you try it!

Dry, Scratchy, Irritated Eyes?

The problem may not be your eyes, but rather your eyelids. Seasonal allergies can cause red, itchy, inflamed eyes and eyelids. Allergy eye drops relieve eye symptoms but do not calm the irritated eyelids. OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® Allergy removes oil, debris, pollen, and other contaminants from the eyelids while utilizing Green Tea Extract, Tea Tree Oil, and PSG-2™ to effectively reduce redness, inflammation, and itching of allergy eyelids.

OCuSOFT® Lid Scrub® Family of eyelid cleansers includes mild, non-irritating cleansers that effectively remove contaminants from the eyelids to provide relief of symptoms associated with conditions ranging from mild to severe. 

Instructions for Use:

  • Unfold pre-moistened pad and wrap over finger
  • Close eye and gently cleanse lid using side-to-side strokes. Do not touch eye directly. Repeat for other lid. Leave on for best results. No rinsing necessary.

Ingredients:

Water, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Polysorbate 20, Butylene Glycol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Phytosphingosine Hydrochloride (PSG-2), Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.

Warnings: 

For external use only. Wash hands and remove contact lenses prior to use.

My morning go to

My current AM favorite.

- The tea-tree is very present. I love the refreshing blast in the morning, especially when the pollen is flying. Some might not like the sensation.

- As others have said, all OCu-SOFT wipes are a bit "rougher" than some other pads. Some people don't like that but it's a plus for me. I like the feeling of cleaning it brings and it's great for morning gunk.

- They come out of the packet wet, not just damp. I've found some other pads to be not moist enough.

- They are expensive, like all of these products are!

Great for dry eyes from allergies

I used to use the regular OCuSOFT Plus (light blue) after hot compresses before bed to clean lid margins, but I decided to give these a try because I was curious about the tea tree. These are fantastic! I have been allergy tested and am extremely allergic to all tree pollens and dust. My other diagnosed issues not tagged are trichiasis, I'm prone to styes, and I use punctal plugs in all 4 ducts in addition to the other tags on this review. I've gone through a lot to figure out how to reduce inflammation of my lids and cornea. Using these wipes before bed has been a huge game changer! My eyes are clear and lids are not puffy when I wake up in the morning. No crust in my eyes, and using them consistently has been key. I use them before putting on a silk eye sleeping mask. After 4 years I've managed to get my issues under control (and I got a bunch of eyelashes permanently removed) so for makeup I use Blinc mascara. It comes off really well for the most part, and these wipes will catch any last bits that didn't make it out when I wash my face. I find these to be even better than the OCuSOFT Plus that I used to use. The relief is immediate too so at night before going to bed it's a really great feeling. I wish these were sold in more stores, if they are there's maybe a single box. Glad to have it here, otherwise I would have never tried it!

Allergy/Eye Irritation Relief

Love Love Love the soothing feel of tea tree oil on my lids;

Hate hate hate that Ocusoft’s pads are SO rough.

Seriously, if the pads weren’t so rough and bumpy this would feel even more incredible.

Best thing I have found for my dry eyes!

I came upon this product by accident while shopping in a CVS Pharmacy. I loved that it used essential oils in it's formula. I went home and tried it.

Within a couple of days my eyes were much better! I have Sjogrens Syndrome so my dry eyes are not going away. This has taken away that all day itchy feeling that I had suffered from. Love, love, love this product!!!
