A good dual device for scleral lens
Been wearing a right scleral lens for several years. That eye compromised from a very old retinal detachment, the eruption/removal of surgical sutures, an incomplete closing of the lid, etc. Left eye fine. I first tried a small lens inserter with the end snipped off. Found it tricky to properly fill the inserter and keep it from wobbling. Then tried an inserter that slides into a stable base. But the set up took time. And I had a concern I might damage my eye if I lowered it onto the inserter too quickly. Like the DMV Versa Remover/Inserter best. Both the inserter and remover on the same device. The longer stem and the wider inserter base are easier to hold and position. I hold the filled inserter with my left index finger and thumb while I open my right eye with my right middle and ring fingers. With my right eye wide open, facing straight down and close to the cloth covered table, insertion is easy. I wash the inserter with alcohol after using and allow to air dry.
