This is a classic, conventional microwavable warm compress from a trusted company.
On the side towards your eyes, it is soft fabric, and the outward-facing side is a thicker weave for better heat retention. The strap is about 1" wide elastic and velcro, easily adjustable. A silky black fabric storage bag is included.
This style of compress is popular as it is low-cost and retains heat reasonably well for a typical 5 to 10 minute compress.
As with all microwavables, you need to be careful not to overheat it as there is risk of burning.

Directions for use
Place mask on paper towel. Heat in microwave on high 20 seconds. Remove mask and touch with the back of your hand to test temperature. If mask is too hot, let it cool. If too cool, heat an additional 5 seconds. Do not heat for more than 30 seconds. Place mask over closed eyelids for up to 10 minutes or as directed by your doctor.
Cleaning instructions
Wipe with a wet cloth, then let air dry. Mask is ready to reuse after fabric has dried, usually wait at least 2 hours. Do not machine wash. Do not submerge in water. Wash immediately if mask is exposed to oils, food or dirt.
Additional comments
Always test heat before placing on eyes. Do not apply compress tightly. After treatment some temporary blurring may occur due to tear glands releasing beneficial fluids. Vision will clear in a few minutes.
