Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress

Ah, the "Bruder bag" of yore. At last.

This is the "Kleenex" of tissues - the name brand original microwavable bead-filled warm compress, used and loved by many over many long years, and partially copied but never truly replicated by everyone.

The only reason we have not offered "Bruder Bags" at the shop till now was issues with pricing terms. We can't afford to sell things that cost us so much we would actually lose money on them. Thankfully, that's been resolved - at least to the extent that we have them in stock now, though our price is (necessarily) certainly on the high side. Feel free to purchase them on Amazon or direct from the manufacture, whatever fits your budget. I just really wanted to at least have them in stock, because selling warm compresses without selling Bruder just feels weird :)

How to use the compress

STEP 1

Microwave for 20 seconds after first removing all shelves to leave only the rotating tray. To increase heat, heat in additional 5 second increments. Do not exceed 30 seconds total.

STEP 2

Touch test compress before placing over eyes. If the compress feels too hot, remove immediately and wait 1-2 minutes before re-applying. Compress should NOT be applied tightly and can be used without the strap if desired.

STEP 3

Apply for 8-10 minutes over closed eyes or as prescribed by your doctor. If reused within 30 minutes, reduce heating time by half.

Compress care and cleaning

When to wash: Wash if exposed to makeup, creams, oils, grease or food.

How to wash: Before washing, wait 2 hours after use. HAND WASH ONLY in COLD water with a mild detergent. Air dry for at least 24 hours before use. If using daily, consider replacing after 6 months.

Care tips:

• Place on a microwave safe plate when warming to keep your compress clean.
• Store your compress in the convenient mesh storage bag between uses.
• After treatment, you may experience blurry vision that will clear in a few minutes as your tear glands are releasing beneficial fluids.
