There are a lot of lid cleansing foams on the market of various sorts. Some are medicated, many have tea tree oil. This one has... okra. Yes, that's the claim to fame. I do not have personal experience of this other than brief trials, so I can't give a detailed review. I found it very gentle and pleasant. Personally I tend to prefer lid cleansing products that I don't have to rinse off, but that's usually wipes, and many people find foams more comfortable to use than wipes. If you try it, please let me know what you think, or post a review!
Ingredient alert: Phenoxyethanol
Okra Limited, founded by Dr. Peter Pham and the distributor for Zocular® products, is the first and only company to pioneer the use of a refined extract of Abelmoschus esculentus (aka Hibiscus esculentus), commonly known as okra, for your eyes and face in its products. Our proprietary okra-based formulation gives Zocular products their distinctive premium quality and effectiveness.
Zocular products contain our unique okra-infused Zocusome micelles that gently lift and clear the oil, debris, and residue on your eyelid margins to make your eyes and skin appear more natural and healthy.
ZocuFoam™ cleanser and moisturizer delivers the soothing and calming action of our patented Zokrex™ platform with activated natural okra complexes along with the deep cleansing power of micellar Zocusomes™. It’s pH balanced for the ocular surface and has been clinically shown to be effective against Demodex.

I have used these wipes for a few days now and I am amazed at the results so far. My eyes are a little 'crusty' in the morning and my eyelids are a bit swollen, but while I am having my first cup of coffee, I wipe my eyelids and immediately they feel clean and moisturized. The swelling in my lids is gone.
This has been the best product I have used on my eyes! I have tried so many products and have spent a ton of money on them. I will be sticking with these wipes!

I have been using the Zocular line of products for about two months, to help with chronic dry eye, blepahritis, and roscea. I am still assessing this cleanser/moisturier, and will provide an update in a month or two. I've used the Zocular wipes and the Zocushield Gel, which I also bought from DryEye Products , for a couple of months and think/hope that these may be the silver bullet I have been looking for during at least the last 20 years. I have spent maybe thousands of dollars and tried many, many products. My dermatologist was the first to actually provide real help (not any of my many ophthalmologists or optometrists). He said I needed to treat my eyelid margins. The medication he prescribed was shortly discontinued, but while I used it on my eyelid margins, I found the only relief I'd found in many years. Before that, I actually had reached the stage where I didn't want to get up in the morning to face the burning and irritation; the sand in my eyes, the "look like I've been crying", prior to using this medication. I couldn't read, watch tv, or even engage in social conversation without discomfort. None of the medication my dermatologist prescribed after that initial one helped as much, but at least I'd found that the relief I sought was not dousing my eyes with lubricants, antibiotics, steroids,, etc. that my eye doctors had prescribed, but was instead related to my eyelid margins. I've tried hundreds (yes, hundreds) of oils, creams, lotions. Some would…
