3M Kind Removal Silicone Tape

My eye protrudes forward and cannot shut on its own. Since using this tape I have little to no inflammation, irritation or redness in the morning since the eye is able to remain closed. Another benefit has been that I am more rested since light is no longer filtering in while I'm asleep. The tape removes gently and has rarely pulled an eyelash. It tears easily to whatever size is needed. I found the best way to tape my eye is one piece horizontal on the inside corner and one piece vertical on the outside corner use. After a little practice it's easy to tape on and off without a mirror. Small and compact the roll is easy to carry while traveling when I need a nap. I hope it works for you too! I'd been using paper tape for sleeping for 4 weeks after my Ramsay Hunt diagnosis. My skin had become irritated and the adhesive was beginning to leave a residue. I was so happy to find the Dry Eye shop and ordered the 3M Kind Silicone tape. I found that I was able to reposition it as needed but more importantly, it was so gentle and easy to remove in the morning with no adhesive residue. I've gone through extended periods of time where I tape my eyes at night. This is by far the best tape out there. The removal is easy and painless, but it does stay on.

I have been using this kindness tape now for about 18 months maybe longer. I've tried a bevvy of things for the past six years now, ever since ointment alone no longer works.
