They are kinder to the skin.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eBut for those with silicone allergy or who need the least expensive option, I still consider paper tape a decent option, in a lesser-of-various-evils kind of way! It does not agree with everyone - some people can't tolerate paper tapes - but this is still much better on the eyelids than very sticky medical tapes like plastic or woven tapes that tug too hard on the delicate skin and leave lots of residue behind.
