    As with the regular Sil-Ophtho, we were asked by a customer to stock this one, so here it is! Thicker version of the original. We recommend always trying the original first.

    SAFETY notice to our dry eye and scleral lens customers: Tempting though you might find it to buy up anything and everything on this site that comes in liquid form, *just* in case it helps your dry eye, please take my word for it that you do not want this one. It is not suitable for use on the cornea or on scleral lenses.

    SIL-OPHTHO is a medical grade silicone oil with a special viscosity used as a lubricant for your ocular prosthesis. This silicone lubricant is a valuable aid to prosthetic eye wearers. It helps control both irritation and discharge from the socket.

    Our thicker silicone lubricant is made to provide relief for those who live in dry climates, work outside, or when medium viscosity has not provided adequate relief.

    Excellent eye lubricant

    Best lube for artificial eyes. I’ve had an artificial eye since age 6 years old. I am now 71 years old and I’ve used just about everything there is and this is the absolute best. Thanks 👍

    I have been using Sil-Ophtho from 4-22-2011. In the past I did get it from the doctor. They are not doing the ordering of the product any more. So they gave me your e-mail address to order from. The order went very well. Thanks for being their.

    This has been helping me so much for keeping my eyelids more comfortable and not sticking to the prosthetic eye. My eye lashes also feel better with using this product.

    Sil-Ophtho-H not a good choice for me

    I ordered Sil-Ophtho-H for my scleral shell because I've been unable to procure my usual wetting solution. Unfortunately, this alternative has not proven to be a good choice for me.

    My occularist recommended saline but it's far too thin. I'm not giving up though, I'll still order a thinner solution until I find what works best for me or until my usual vendor, WRW is once again available.
