Soothe XP is one of the few emollient type eye drops on the market - they look "milky" in the vial. Popular drop, and if your doctor is advising you to use a drop with oils this is a decent thing to try out.
Only Soothe XP contains Restoryl mineral oils. Soothe XP helps restore this layer, seal in moisture, and protect against further irritation.

I think this product is competitive with Ocusoft's Retaine MGD PF drops, but it contains a higher percentage of mineral oil. It's a bit more milky and blurring than Retaine MGD PF drops upon insertion, but, so far, it's not bad in terms of providing comfort due to MGD and evaporative dry eye. Bausch and Lomb is a leader when it comes to ocular care, so I was drawn to trying these drops because of the ingredients , the PF factor, and the company's reputation. I'm glad I did.
