It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Our local outdoor education camp, IslandWood on Bainbridge Island, opens up their campus to the public once a month. I had a friend from college visiting from Seattle for the weekend, and I was finally able to visit. Their campus has a suspension bridge, an old fire lookout tower installed in the forest, trails, marshes, treehouses, and a connection to Blakely Harbor. 

I was intent on taking advantage of the clear weather this weekend! I had an early morning East coast phone call yesterday, and we have poor cell reception at home so I was driving around when I saw a glow on the horizon and hurried to find a place by the water to watch the sunrise. - Rebecca

It was pouring rain in Poulsbo, but gorgeous up at Hurricane Ridge, a favorite spot for Rebecca and her husband. Lots of fun clouds and constantly changing skies.
