    Description (Rebecca's)

I always seem to be suggesting that people use safety goggles as a cheap, easy proxy for moisture chambers. That way they can test out he concept, and see how much it helps first, before spending big for fancier or even custom made moisture chambers. Then one of our regular suppliers offered us some and I couldn't resist!

I tried out this goggle working at my computer, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was, especially as I am not very tolerant of goggles of any kind. One of the things I have found though is that I tolerate eyewear better if it's completely transparent all around. So these didn't really bother me. I was also able to wear them over my readers, still comfortably.

They are fairly roomy, and have a simple elastic strap at the back. On me personally, they fit pretty close to my skin all the way around, so they did a decent job with moisture.

CAUTION: Every now and then, someone finds the strap way too short. If you have a larger hat size, this is probably not going to work for you.

    Description (Manufacturer's)

The CG2 Safety Goggle feathers a modern design and FogStopper Anti-fog coating. They are suitable for a number of different applications where a comfortable goggle is required against Impact, dust and droplet protection.

Simple way to make big difference!

So easy and inexpensive. Though not an exact, they fit my head well, especially for being generic. Rebecca suggested them to me, something I never would have thought of. I use them for when I take walks or when I’m driving. Yes I get stared at, and no I don’t like that. But for my condition, it’s totally worth it!! It’s way cheaper and more effective than eye drops and gels and ointments—and best of all I think it’s better for my eye. (They actually look scary cool when I have my big sunglasses on under them 🤭.)

I’ll invest in dry eye glasses at some point, so wearing the goggles is a great way to get used to stares; dry eye glasses should be much less obvious. 🤞

    Cuts into your nose

The nose area is sharp. I had marks on my nose from one use. I can’t use these

    CG2 Goggles work well

I have been using this type of goggle for 12 years, wearing them everyday outdoors, in vehicles, and in buildings with noticeable air movement. Those goggles I found at various hardware stores and on the internet, and they worked but were not flexible enough to make as good a seal around my eyes as I would have liked, although I could tighten them, but then they dug more into my forehead and cheeks. The CG2 goggles work much better for me than any previous goggles, since they are made of a more flexible substance and seal better around my eyes. They also dig into my forehead and cheeks much less so are more comfortable to wear. Sometimes I need to check to see if I am wearing them or not!

Way too tight for me and left deep indentions

Really was hoping these would work and will keep searching for a large goggle that can be loosened. I am sure it would be perfect if it could have been loosened somewhat and/or didn't make such deep facial indentations. I
