     About the Primacare Disposable Penlight

    • Helpful for checking for bubbles underneath a lens
    • Pocket clip activates light
    • Works with DMV Luma-Serter Plus for light-guided insertion
    • 5" x 1/2"

    Description (Rebecca's)

I added these to the shop because we've heard from many scleral lens users who find them handy for checking for bubbles. They're manufactured and sold for eye doctors, so they have a pupil gauge, but they're a practical tool for some of us as well.

UPDATE (October 2021): We are now stocking the DMV Luma-Serter Plus, which fits perfectly over the end of this penlight for light-guided insertion.

I find it somewhat annoying that they call them disposable. I supposed it's a euphemism for "cheap, so don't expect it to last for years", but it's not like they are single use.

    Description (Manufacturer's)

They'll Keep On Working, You Won't Believe They're Disposable

    Can't live with it out

(OK. I could) but really...this little tool has been invaluable. I don't have fantastic lighting in my house and was struggling to check for proper insertion and any bubbles or debris. This tool is PERFECT. And the customer service is like none I have ever experienced. The first pen did not work; I contact the Shop and they IMMEDIATELY and without question, shipped me a replacement. Such great folks, resources and products!

    Excellent for looking for bubbles

This light is a great tool to see if you have any bubbles trapped under the lens. It’s bright. The light only has a momentary switch. So when you let go it turns off.

A think this is a must for those scleral lens wearers like me.
