It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

On a cross-trail at Paradise, enjoying early morning wildflowers and trees in the cool & damp.

Usually when we go to Dungeness Wildlife Refuge it's bright and sunny or dingy grey - always beautiful regardless of the weather. This time we arrive just as the mist is lifting. From the hill we couldn't see much, but by the time we finished our walk we could see almost to the lighthouse.   I always enjoy the driftwood on these Pacific or near-Pacific beaches.
