It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Rebecca caught another beautifully sunny day on the Olympic Peninsula this weekend. She started in the mountains at Hurricane Ridge and ended the day at the Dungeness Spit with a view of Mt. Baker (pictured).

The sun rises over the Cascade mountains to our east, but the light spills all over the Olympic mountains to our west. We are so replete with beauty in this corner of the world.

Rebecca and I both timed trips to the Olympic Peninsula this weekend. I hung out at Hurricane Ridge and at Salt Creek. There's so much to do within an hour of PA - skiing, rainforests, beaches, lakes, waterfalls, you name it! 

The proper name for this place is Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, but we've always called in Dungeness Spit as its prime feature is a 6-mile long sand spit.
