Keeps pressure off the eyeball
My new Dry Eye specialist gave me the Dry Eye Shop's URL as a source for Oasis Tears Plus (which I have found very helpful), but the website gave me another idea! Though keeping the eyes moist overnight is what the EyeSeals are made for, I could see from the picture and the description that its deep, bowl-shaped dome over the eye looked quite firm. And that gave me an idea. To me, my glaucoma is an even bigger problem than my Dry Eye. I'm a side sleeper, and I sleep like the proverbial log--I never know when I'm putting pressure on my eyeball, further damaging my sight by driving up the intraocular pressure. The EyeSeals work perfectly to transfer the pressure to my cheekbone and my brow bone, where the rim of the "dome" sits. It doesn't cave in. I've been using these masks since early 2020. They eventually discolor--skin oil, I guess--and get more limber than I like, but I've still never had one cave in. I buy about one a year.
