Dungeness Spit is one of my 'happy places' on the Olympic Peninsula. Amidst the peaks above is Hurricane Ridge, which has an incredible 360 degree view across the Olympic mountains to the south and, to the north, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Vancouver Island.
