Panos and I drove out to the coast for the first time in months. These places feed my soul. When the days are short it's harder to get there and back during daylight and still have a reasonable amount of time to hike or hang out. We timed this trip carefully and didn't stay too long.
We stopped off for a few pictures at Lake Crescent, where the reflections on a calm day are so exciting.
Then we headed to La Push. The tide was all the way in and the creek was overflowing, so we couldn't get to the far end of the beach but there was more than enough to enjoy.
Best place in the world for driftwood.
