and can we who are not black 

take time to learn

how

to say
to hear
to imagine
to believe
and to know

what ‘black lives matter’ means

and to learn why
it’s so important

for it to be said
for it to be heard
for it to be imagined
for it to be believed
for it to be known

by those of us who aren’t black.
