What is your diagnosis (or diagnoses if you have more than one)?

Extreme Dryeyes

How long have you had it?

5yrs

What do you wish more people understood about dry eye (or eye pain if that's your main issue) and how it affects people's lives?

That it even exist and the tremendous effect it has on daily life

What has helped you the most?

A combination of all the above in some ways, but most of all learning and documenting what works and and what doesn't work for me. I first depended on my doctor's treatments and prescription, but as I understood the condition more I realize that I had a significant role to play and thats when I made a shift. I am still learning and adapting, but Veyve has helped, combined with optease intense dryeye drops, night gels and the biggest change is eye glasses with moisture chambers to protect my eyes from wind. I also use heat in the evening and have to severely limit watching TV which and sports. Sleep is also very important and I use supplements and omega 3 oils but dont know if those work. My life is dominated by my dryeyes, but I am positive and accepting it as something I have to deal with.

Are there any dry eye resources you'd like to recommend?

The dry eye store resources have been a game changer. I still feel I have so much to learn, but having access to your community of folks with dryeyes was an eye opener
