What do you wish more people understood about dry eye (or eye pain if that's your main issue) and how it affects people's lives?
It forced me to stop driving. My vision is frequently blurred either because I need drops or I just used drops. It is difficult to focus on anything when I am in motion due to dry eye. It is all horribly expensive and ought to be covered by insurance.
What has helped you the most?
Tryptor rather numbs my eyes so they stop bothering me for 30-45 minutes twice a day. Steroid drops are helpful when the irritation or pain is overwhelming. Regular use, as in every 30 minutes, of gel drops during the day and gel drops plus nighttime ointment.
Are there any dry eye resources you'd like to recommend?
So far nothing has been terribly helpful but Refresh Celluvisc and Genteal nighttime ointment have been the best products for me.
