Diagnosed--4 years, but symptomatic for over 10 years
What do you wish more people understood about dry eye (or eye pain if that's your main issue) and how it affects people's lives?
It can be very painful and prevents me from sleeping well because I have to wake up multiple times to put in eye drops regardless of all of the other measures I take. It's much more than just dry eyes, it affects me every day.
What has helped you the most?
Punctal plugs in all 4 ducts. Nighttime ointments are absolutely necessary for me.
