had a tumor in my eyelid. Had radiation treatments which destroyed all tear production and left eye what numerous problems

What do you wish more people understood about dry eye (or eye pain if that's your main issue) and how it affects people's lives?
sometimes the pain is debilitating. Many simple things people just take for granted like waking up and heading out for a coffee and a walk right away. Takes a long time to do prescription eye drops, clean eye,, put in scleral lens.... then I can go out.
What has helped you the most?
scleral lens is a life saver. I would just stay home otherwise. I always have my polarized wrap around sunglasses on outside. My eye hates air and a light.
Are there any dry eye resources you'd like to recommend?
had a great eye doctor in Calgary Alberta but I moved 5 years ago. Helpful to have online questions and answers
