What do you wish more people understood about dry eye (or eye pain if that's your main issue) and how it affects people's lives?
I wish people understood that when I make extended eye contact during a conversation, if I look away or hold my eyelid down, I am not trying to be disrespectful. If I am on a zoom session and turn my video off, it is because my eye is hurting. I wish people understood how tired my eye feels, especially when I do not have my scleral lens in.
