Dry Eye, OSD and MGD stemming from having Stevens Johnson syndrome decades ago.

What do you wish more people understood about dry eye (or eye pain if that's your main issue) and how it affects people's lives?
People do not understand how debilitating it is, they think you can just put in a few drops in and you’re good. I’ve had to cancel trips and change my life significantly because of this condition.
What has helped you the most?
Cequa/Vevye has helped but the main thing that has helped me is the scleral lens. I also use ointment and protection at night. I’ve had a lot of anxiety and have tried to treat it with meditation, exercise, and have tried anxiety medication.
Are there any dry eye resources you'd like to recommend?
Facebook groups for dry eye and Scleral lens, the Dry Eye Foundation are great resources. Doctors are not as much help honestly. I do research and then ask the doctors if I can try certain procedures or medications.
