Mt. Rainier Loop
As promised from the last Rainier post, we returned to Chinook Pass to take pictures of the view over Tipsoo Lake! We took a drive clockwise around Rainier and ended up getting stuck in construction traffic for about 30 minutes. I should've gotten out of the car to take pictures of Stevens Canyon, it was full of fall colors under the Tatoosh Range. We made it to Reflection Lake only to see fog rolling up the mountain. Hurricane Ridge on a Sunday morning

Rainier to Tieton River
We jumped at the chance to take our fourth out-of-town weekend in a row when a friend planned a trip to their family cabin near Rainier last-minute. I had to drive Chinook Pass (in Mt Rainier National Park) at night trying to ignore the fact we were alongside a very dark and deep void/cliff. Saturday, we drove along a couple beautiful rivers (Tieton River and Bumping River) and stopped at some very dry lakes (Rimrock Lake and Bumping Lake).
