Who's Rebecca?

If you've seen any of our product description pages, you might be wondering who Rebecca is. She is the founder and owner of Dry Eye Shop, which opened in 2005, and she still actively manages the business. Scroll down for a video where Rebecca shares about herself and the story of the shop here:

"Rebecca's description" is a longstanding tradition for nearly every product page at Dry Eye Shop. The purpose is to provide strictly practical, real-world information and opinions to supplement the manufacturer's information.

In her descriptions, she shares things like:

• History of the product
• What it's like to use, handle, etc - including the packaging
• What makes it different from other products in the same category (if it is)
• What type of people it seems to be best suited for (or not) and why
• Who she is most likely to recommend it to and why
• Contextual information about the product category, such as safety or regulatory information or other challenges faced by manufacturers and distributors
