Personal experience

I liked it: 

• I like the size - not huge, not tiny.
• I like the feel of the wipe. It's not the very softest I've come across, but it is plenty soft for my lids, and textured enough to feel effective.
• I like the saturation - in fact, I'd say this is the ideal saturation for a lid wipe. I am not quite as fond of the ones that feel "sudsy" or the ones where it's not perfectly intuitive whether it's a leave-on or rinse-off type.

General commentary

In addition to the above, I'd say this product is a very welcome new addition to the lid wipe playing field.

Benefit #1: It's preservative free. This is not yet common in lid care products.

Benefit #2: It does not contain tea tree oil. 

That might sound like an odd "benefit", but the eyelid hygiene market has been dominated by tea tree products for many years now. It's nice to see new trends starting to emerge where there are some non-TTO innovations coming on the market. 

To be clear: I am not anti-tea tree oil by any stretch of the imagination. I do not buy into the "but it's toxic" hyperbole that can come from misinterpreting or over-interpreting in vitro studies of the effect of high concentrations of TTO. (Remember, even water is toxic when over-consumed.)

Instead, my point is just that plenty of people either dislike the smell of TTO, or are sensitive to its effects on their skin and eye area, and historically, there have been VERY few options for these folks besides the standard Ocusoft fare, which are good quality and well liked but not exactly innovative.

Now, you might have expected me to continue on to "Benefit #3: Manuka oil". No, I can't go there. Why? (a) I have no useful knowledge of manuka oil or manuka honey and even if I did, (b) I don't know how much of it is in this product; also, (c) the manufacturer is prudently refraining from making medical claims, knowing the FDA is breathing down everyone's necks about medical claims; and last but not least (d) I don't believe in hyping up trendy ingredients just because.
