WeLoveEyes Focused Eye Roll

I was tempted to stock this product because I talk with people so frequently who have not been given any instructions about how to massage their lids after a warm compress.

This tool seems reasonably well designed for the purpose and is easy to use.

However, I STRONGLY advise against heating this device more than slightly. If you want to run it under warm water to make it body temperature or slightly warmer, fine, but it cannot possibly perform the function of a warm compress and it is way too easy to dangerously overheat it. All items for heating the lids need caution but this one heats up very fast and poses a real risk of burning if you are not very careful.

DO NOT OVERHEAT. I ran this under hot water and was astonished how hot it got, how quickly it got hot, and how long it took to cool down. I touched it once very briefly to my lid while it was too hot and it was the closest I've come to burning an eyelid in many years. I will look forward to hearing from users whether you like to heat it and if so how you heat it and for how long.

If you heat the roller, ALWAYS test it against your wrist before your lids.

SUGGESTED USE:
Roll side to side under each eye to tone & depuff. Roll in a figure 8 around both eyes to relax tired eyes. Use alone or with eye cream. Roll on your favorite We Love Eyes eye cream to encourage absorption.

Got meibomian gland blockage? Massage and hot compress at the same time. Run Focused Eye Roll under hot water to create a rolling hot compress. [DRY EYE SHOP RECOMMENDS AGAINST HEATING THIS METAL TOOL THIS DUE TO RISK OF BURNS.] Roll up & down (perpendicular to the eyelid margins) for best results. Always wrist test the temperature before using on the eye area.

WARNING: Focused Eye Roll is contraindicated for use on eyes with any history of keratoconus, glaucoma, and retinal tear/detachment including any eye surgery including LASIK / PRK.
