Nanodropper is a great idea for better prescription eye drop economy. Here are examples of when Nanodropper can be helpful.

(1) Lowering the out-of-pocket cost of prescription eye drops

If your out-of-pocket cost on a drug is very high, the savings from using Nanodropper may be considerable because:

• Most people apply a much larger eye drop than necessary. Nanodropper helps you apply a smaller amount, so you get more doses for the same money and the bottle lasts longer.
• Some people lose a lot of eye drops due to difficulties with aiming them into their eyes or blinking too soon. By reducing drop size, Nanodropper helps reduce wastage, and to a certain extent it may also help with aim.

(2) Preventing you from running out before you are eligible for a refill

Some people run out of an eye drop before they are eligible for insurance coverage for the next bottle. This may happen because of a problematic dropper or because of difficulty with eye drop "aim". Nanodropper reduces the wastage so your bottle lasts until your next refill.

Please note - Nanodropper is designed to be used with a single eye drop bottle and then discarded. If you are using a medication on a long term basis, you may want to set up a subscription to get a new Nanodropper every time you refill your medication.

Intended use

The Nanodropper is a sterile eye drop bottle adaptor that is designed for topical eye drop medication bottles. The Nanodropper is designed for single-bottle use only.

Warnings and precautions

• Do not use if package is open or plastic pouch is damaged or punctured
• Do not use if blue silicone tip is loose in plastic pouch
• To prevent cross-contamination, do not transfer the Nanodropper to multiple bottles. The Nanodropper is for single-bottle use only
• Always ensure that the cap is replaced after every use
• If blue tip is contaminated, discard the Nanodropper to prevent infection
• To decrease risk of contamination, discard the Nanodropper after 3 months of use, or by the recommended date by your prescribing doctor or original drug manufacturer

Step 0: Remove cap from original bottle

Step 1: Remove Nanodropper from sterile pouch, and align with bottle

Step 2: Twist on the Nanodropper clockwise until its secured snugly onto the bottle

Step 3: Remove Nanodropper cap by pulling sideways and up in the same motion
(Tip: Don't pull straight up)

Step 4: Carefully suspend the bottle vertically above your eye and squeeze the bottle gently until a single drop is dispensed from the tip. Replace cap after every use
