This is the RGP multipurpose solution sold by Tangible specifically for use with Hydra-PEG coated lenses, so it is one of the few that are suitable for cleaning and disinfecting scleral lenses that have Hydra-PEG. 

I haven't used it yet! I'll try to remember to update this after I've tried it (although I'm not currently using lenses with Hydrapeg). But I've been hearing & reading good things on our Facebook group. Be sure to share your experiences... we always appreciate detailed reviews!

As with ALL multi-purpose solutions, DO NOT put this solution in the 'bowl' of your scleral lens. It is strictly for cleaning and disinfection, not filling.

**CAUTION**: The manufacturer's instructions on the box ("Step 4: Conditioning") appear to sanction putting a few drops in the lens before insertion. However, those instructions are NOT intended for scleral lenses, they are for soft and RGP lens users. That's very different, because the solution is washed away and drains out of the eye pretty quickly. With a scleral lens, the solution (including cleaning agents and preservatives) is held against the eye all day long. That's not a good thing!

Tangible® Clean is an FDA-cleared daily cleaning and disinfecting solution ideal for use with Tangible®Hydra-PEG® coated lenses that can also be used with any gas permeable lens. When you’re using Tangible® Clean, you won’t have to worry about using an incompatible solution that might damage your coated lenses.

Tangible® Clean performs best when used according to package instructions.

Contents:  

A sterile, isotonic solution that contains poloxamer, sodium phosphate buffer, sodium chloride, and disodium edetate; preserved with polyhexanide 0.0001%. Contains no chlorhexidine or thimerosal.

Directions

To open bottle, turn cap counterclockwise. The cap has a tamper evident ring that breaks when it is turned counterclockwise. Do not use if the ring is broken before the first use. Replace cap after use. To thoroughly clean and disinfect your lenses, you must complete the following steps every time you remove them.

Step 1: DAILY CLEAN

Place 3 drops of Tangible® Clean Multi-Purpose Solution on each side of contact lens. Gently rub both sides of the lens with the tip of forefinger for 15-20 seconds.

Step 2: RINSE

Remove surface debris by rinsing thoroughly with the Tangible® Clean Multi-Purpose Solution. 

Step 3: DISINFECT/STORE

Place rinsed contact lenses in lens case and fill with fresh Tangible® Clean Multi-Purpose Solution for at least 6 hours.

Step 4: CONDITIONING

To improve comfort and wetability, a few drops of Tangible® Clean Multi-Purpose Solution may be applied to both surfaces of the lens prior to insertion onto the eye.

Store at room temperature.

DISCARD DATE: Discard any remaining solution 3 months after opening.

SEE PACKAGE INSERT FOR IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not reuse or “top off” old solution left in you lens case since solution reuse reduces the effective lens disinfection and could lead to severe infection, vision loss or blindness. “Topping-Off” is the addition of fresh solution to solution that has been sitting in your case.
