This month, we re-priced a number of our products. We also repriced current subscriptions for the first time since 2018. Some people's subscription prices were waaaay out of date. Most price increases were minor, around a dollar or two. Still, we hate raising prices! Especially now while everyone's feeling the effects of inflation! After running the numbers, however, we decided our profit margins weren't high enough for us to be sustainable.  What does that really mean? We want to be here long term. We want to do the important things that no one else does, like tracking backorders, writing detailed product descriptions and creating articles and videos...

Congratulations, David, on 5-years of service at the Dry Eye Company!  David is an absolute joy to have at the office. He's our product packaging specialist, which means he bags and labels almost every product that we stock (including every plunger!). He currently helps pre-tape boxes for fulfillment and has done cleaning and shredding in the past. Every so often we like to browse obscure holidays to see what we can have some fun with.  We know dry eye and scleral lens patients certainly accumulate a lot of STUFF, so today's the day for a couple reminders: Saline, solutions, eye drops, lid cleansing products, etc. EXPIRE Check expiration dates of everything in your bathroom/drawer/purse/glovebox and chuck anything that's expired!  Don't stretch out SINGLE-USE products Learn more about contamination risks for PF eyedrops from the Dry Eye Foundation.
